Ensembl Stats: C. briggsae

	News  03 March 2003   The C. briggsae genome was sequenced by the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and the Genome Sequencing Center at the Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis. Each Centre has sequenced approximately 1,000,000 whole genome shotgun reads from plasmids and BAC and fosmid ends. These give a greater than 10x coverage of the genome.
